Essential Tips for Proper Hair Care on Vacation

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Over the years there have been some pretty wild hair tools invented, we wanted to bring the most memorable all in one place and share with you. Let us know below in a comment what you think, if you remember these tools, or if you have any tools we might have missed that should be on this list.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]The Flobee – This handy little helped was originally made in Corpus Christi, Tx in good ole’ USA by Rick Hunts. The Flobee advertised a new and improved way to cut your hair by using a vacuum like device to evenly trim your hair every time. How well does this work you ask? Well, considering it is no longer being advertised I am thinking it wasn’t very popular, just another $19.99 product from the 3am infomercial. If you are not up to trying the Flobee you can give the RoboCut a try too, with the same basic purpose as the Flobee this tool is a bit more expensive and according to their site has a 4/5 star review.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”2009″ alignment=”center” border_color=”grey” img_link_large=”yes” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”full”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”2007″ alignment=”center” border_color=”grey” img_link_large=”yes” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”full”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][vc_column_text]The Air Curler – this one came out more recently, you attach the small bucket (for lack of a better term) to your hair dryer, place the hair into the bucket and turn on the dryer. The basic concept is the hair dryer spins the hair like crazy in this bucket which in turn is said to cause curls. Oh the joys of staying up for the 3am infomercials.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][vc_column_text]Hair in a can – Yes you read that correctly, it’s amazing this product even made it onto TV infomercials; it is quite comical to watch if you haven’t seen the commercial for it I recommend getting onto YouTube and watching it, what a hoot. Anyways the hair in a can was released by Ron Popeil years ago, as a way to correct male pattern baldness. Just spray paint your head, what could go wrong?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”2008″ alignment=”center” border_color=”grey” img_link_large=”yes” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”full”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”2010″ alignment=”center” border_color=”grey” img_link_large=”yes” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”full”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][vc_column_text]Let’s take a step back to the 1920’s (so long ago that all we can come up with is an artist rendering) have you ever seen a “Hair Trimming Cage?” This ring which was placed around the head would help keep trims even. It is funny to look back over the years and how far we have come from the early days of hair cutting. I would suspect any child who would have to wear this cage to get a hair trim would leave traumatized.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][vc_column_text]There are some pretty off the wall ideas out there when it comes to hair care tools, some are funny and some are just plain frightening, I think I will stick to the professionals at the salon when it comes to taking care of my hair. Now, excuse me while I go vacuum my hair.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
